We just tried to get help at the ER again and they said for us to go to an hour away to Lufkin or wait til Monday and get a dr's order for a test - our dr is flooded by Hurricane Harvey & has been shut down for a week now.

Went there because I had fell and hurt my foot. I went in two rooms, triage and exray. I was put back in the waiting room a nurse (I assume) came and said that it was foot pain and that they would be bringing my discharge papers. A few minutes later I was discharged with foot pain. Never was seen by a doctor, but you can guarantee that my insurance will get a bill from them. I just wonder when they started doing the Patch Adams way. Well I know that I will not be going back. I may die before I get to Lufkin but I know if I don't at least I will be put in a room and will be seen by a doctor. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone. I wouldn't even give it one star, that's how bad it was. You can't post unless you rate them. It shouldn't be that way.

This place is beyond useless and more of a hazard than a help. Several locals had warned us that they lost relatives due to this hospital's carelessness. This was our 2nd and last try at giving this place a chance.

Do not go here!

I took my wife to the emergency room there. After two hours they still had not checked her nor even given her a wrist band. We asked how long it might be and they told us they had people in hallways in beds. None of these people were visible. We said we were leaving and suddenly they found a room. We did not stay.

This place was empty when I checked in with 102° degree fever..they let everyone who walked in the fkn door go see a god Damn doctor...by the way I ended up having a deadly contagious virus with lots of sick elderly people and children sitting around me...when someone dies from letting me just sit here and me passing my germs that's karma

This hospital is atrocious. I went in nearly unconscious and they kept me in the ER room for 3 hours before a nurse even came in. She took urine and left, we never saw her again. It was almost 6 hours before we walked out. Never got results but got a bill for labs and dr consultation- never saw a dr!

Major hub for our area, average wait time is 2 to 4 hrs. Staff are friendly and helpful.
