I had felt lousy for nearly a week, coughing, congestion, running nose, weak, could barely hold my head up. I decided I needed help to get better so made an appointment with Terri Barnhart, nurse practitioner, at the Christus Clinic in Jasper. My appointment was at 10:30. I finally left at 12:00 without seeing anyone. Just couldn't wait any longer. Why can't medical professionals realistically schedule patients? Do they think their time is so much more precious than that of their patients. Do they not realize that a sick person might not be also to set in their waiting room for hours?
